In a move to further enhance its off-road capabilities, Jeep has announced the introduction of the Xtreme 35 Tire Package for the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon and Willys two-door models. This marks the first occasion Jeep is offering 35-inch tires straight from the factory for these models. The package, priced at $4,995 CAD, includes a range of features designed to improve the vehicles' off-road performance significantly.
The Xtreme 35 Tire Package equips the vehicles with LT315/70R17C (35-inch) BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, 17-by-8-inch beadlock capable wheels, swing gate reinforcement, a 4.56:1 axle ratio, and a 3.8 cm (1.5-in.) factory suspension lift with shocks tuned specifically for these models. These additions are set to provide Jeep Wrangler enthusiasts with unparalleled capabilities, including a best-in-class breakover angle of 32.4 degrees, superior approach and departure angles, enhanced ground clearance, and improved water fording capabilities.
Specifications for the equipped models boast an approach angle of 47.2 degrees, departure angle of 40.4 degrees, ground clearance of 32 centimeters (12.6 inches), and the ability to ford waters up to 86.3 cm (34 inches) deep. The introduction of the Xtreme 35 Tire Package is a direct response to the customer demand for more capable and adventure-oriented vehicles, following the success of the same package on the four-door Wrangler models since 2021.
The 2024 Wrangler Rubicon X two-door model with the 2.0-litre turbo engine, including the Xtreme 35 Tire Package, is available starting at a Canadian MSRP of $79,905. Jeep has already begun accepting customer orders for the Rubicon model, with production scheduled to commence this spring at the Toledo (Ohio) Assembly Plant. The package will become available for the Willys model later this quarter.
